Chapter 46. Regret

Easton POV

After taking off the condom on me, I rolled across the mattress and collapsed next to Chloe. I felt as though I had just completed a marathon and my breathing was quite rapid. My entire body began to flutter and shake as I experienced the sexual release; it was exhilarating and incredibly satisfying. Too different from the ones I had in the past. Too different from Rosie. I felt like every last seed I possessed was being sucked out of me.

My attention shifted to the smear of blood on the white bedsheet and my heart instantly sank.

I pulled Chloe closer to me and stared into her amber orbs and she smiled, satisfaction was seen in her eyes. She moved to rest her cheek on my chest, and I kissed the top of her head.

''Thank you, Chloe…'' I whispered as I ran my fingers through her hair in a slow, caressing motion. ''You didn't tell me that you're a virgin…''
