''You've had enough, Jasper!'' I yelled out, my body tensing up like a tightly coiled spring as I stared straight ahead with my fingers balled into fists. ''I don't need any of your explanations. Why are you still bothering me? Please leave me alone! I'm happy now with Easton…''

''No, you're not!'' he yelled back but soon his voice softened when he saw in my eyes how scared I was. ''Why did you even bother going out on a date with that doctor if you're perfectly content with your current relationship? Tell me, Chloe. Never have I ever seen you date another guy when we're still together...''
