Steel’s POV

The office doors opening pulled my attention away from my computer screen. My eyes focused on Killian who had just entered the room. I had asked him to come meet with me. There were a few things we needed to talk about.

The first was how I had acted towards him when my jealousy got the best of me. Pretending like it never happened left a little bit of awkwardness between us. Killian’s someone I could go to with anything and one of my best friends, we needed to just get this conversation done and over with. That way we could forget about the whole thing without it affecting our friendship.
