Sterling’s POV

My lungs fill with relief as I see Sofia walk into the home. I’m not sure how to put it, but I feel empty without her. Now I wonder how my life would have been without her. I don’t even want to think about it, but I imagine a complete mess.

She approached me head-on and began kissing me. For a brief moment, but it didn’t take long before I took over the kiss.

“Where is Steel?” she whispered between her labored breaths.

“Asleep in his new room.” She nodded and I picked her up.

I felt her soft lips on my skin causing a growl from me. Tumbling we reached our room and she pushed me on the bed and climbed on top of me.

“Sofia…”

“You want me to stop?” she suddenly froze and looked with a questioning gaze towards me.

Why was she looking so scared? I shook my head, and she pushed off my clothes while she persisted in attacking my lips. Letting my thoughts go, I returned the favor.
