Chapter 50

Sterling’s POV

The journey would have been silent if Steel hadn’t been chatting in the backseat. He continued talking about his classmates and his day. I had a weird sensation as we got to the Delgado estate. I never imagined that my family and I would be entering this property alive, yet here we are.

Sofia carries Steel as she walks towards the entrance. I don’t know why she keeps acting in that way. He is a big boy and shouldn’t be carried around like that. When Steel spotted Sofia’s brother, he hurried over to speak with him. I frowned slightly at the sight but decided to ignore him. I joined them and heard Carlito saying something about a room. After giving a nod, Sofia left to go see who I believe to be his girlfriend.

“I didn’t know you were coming along.” He cleared his throat finally acknowledging me.

I extended my hand and we sat down on the couch.

“I didn’t plan it either.”

“Listen I need a favor.”

“What kind of favor?”
