Sofia’s POV

I inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly as the contraction subsided. After we got to the hospital, they gave me a room. At thirty-six weeks and a few days along, they decided to get in touch with Dr. Frank to find out his plans moving forward. I was ready to take care of whatever needed to be done and I trusted my doctor’s judgment.

The nurse entered the room.

“So we got a hold of Dr. Frank, he feels that the baby is ready to arrive based on the results of the most recent test. So he decided we’re going to proceed as normal.”
