Sofia’s POV

I left Amethyst at four in the afternoon, Julie got a message from Sterling that I needed to get home on time. I climbed into my car and drove away. Danny followed behind of course. He was sitting outside Amethyst’s doors when he wasn’t following me around in a car. He kept an eye on who entered and left.

As I drove, I kept thinking about what Leo had said. I did know Sterling the best. And he was still not behaving entirely like himself at this moment. By now he should have been just about done with his treatment. With how Sterling’s ego was, I knew that after the twelve weeks, he would reject any additional offers. We had to discuss whether to keep seeing the therapist if he hadn’t fully recovered.
