[A month after Ethan’s discharge from the hospital]

Avery’s POV

“Ethan!” I cover my eyes with my hands, heart thumping loudly against my chest.

Since he came from the hospital, it seems he has made it a task to make my heart race from fear every second.

Just like now.

For someone who has just been discharged after staying in a coma for three months, Ethan is overly energetic. Today, we have decided to take the boys out to the amusement park at their request. At first, I was skeptical but puppy eyes from the boys and a longing look in Ethan, my dear husband’s eyes, and I found myself in a ride out of the mansion.

Now, I am beginning to think it was a bad idea.

Ethan is currently on the gigantic Ferris wheel with the boys. I have my heart pounding in worry while they are up there screaming in excitement.

A soft chuckle sounds beside me. I slowly peek through my fingers to find a woman standing close to me, a huge grin on her face.
