Chapter 13
The next morning, Nafisa woke her up early. “C’mon please wake up. He really wants to talk to you, ya Hidayah just this once. Since he left he has always called almost every day but you never talk to him.” Nafisa was a little upset and disappointed in Hidayah. It has been three weeks since Ahmad left and not for once has Hidayah ever spoken to him.
“Look, Nafisa, stop disturbing me about this man. What does he want to say to me? What does he want from me? He locked me up in this house and what next?” Hidayah was very discomfited and uncomfortable in the house. All she wanted was to be free from him. Leave the country if it means staying far away from him. He was a monster to her.
Nafisa heaved a long sigh to dial down her anger. “Okay, that’s fine. That’s okay. Let’s get to cleaning then, the house is a bit dusty.” Nafisa stated as she sauntered out of the room. Hidayah got off her bed and sashayed into her ba
