Chapter 25
When the tears weren’t even halfway done, Ahmad was empty. He hadn’t experienced that feeling before. The sadness was so raw. An ache started deep in his stomach. He threw the pills across the room as his eyes welled up with tears. He swiped at his eyes but the tears came anyway.
He clenched his fist angrily as irritation surged up inside him. How could she do this to him? Why does that innocent baby have to suffer for his mistakes? The mistakes he doesn’t recall making. She hated him that much?
His pulse sped up and his breathing was shallow. He let out a loud growl of annoyance. Ahmad couldn’t remember the last time he was that angry. His eyes narrowed and his teeth clenched together.
With a light head and fuzzy vision, he got to his feet and stormed out of the room. He went back to the hospital, thinking if he was going to be able to hold himself from hurting Hidayah or not. He stood in front of the door, debating on what to even say H
