Hours passed by in a blur. How quick the hours had passed. Or perhaps it was because today wasn’t just any ordinary day, it was Ahmad’s big day. The day she threaded, more than the day she got married to him. She had her palms clammed under her chin as she thought of how things would be after the wedding. Would he even still consider her as his wife? Because by the way he was treating her lately, even after she had tried to make things right, it would be a miracle if he actually still had some respect for her.
