Zevara’s POV

A week passed since all that had happened but more is still happening. Everyday comes with a shock that is more intense than that of the previous day.

Talon won’t stop caring for me even though I told us to take it slow. He won’t stop showing his love at every given opportunity. During breakfast with me and Nina, he’d make sure that the maid served me the best meal, meat and even the freshest of juice. He would even spoon feed me at times. Most times, I’d try to reject him thinking Nina would be angry but she seems cool with it—it almost seems like she can’t even notice us at all… and Talon won’t back down either.

We spend every moment together. In college, the news about us had spread all through and the students accepted us with mixed expression; most of them think that I’m not good enough for him, but Talon ceases every opportunity to show that he chose me.
