Chapter 25. Caught in His Overprotectiveness
In the afternoon, she received a text message from Luigi. Fortunately, Chelsey had left earlier, as she had some tasks to complete. After closing her dressing room door, she headed to the elevator. She shared it with a few others who seemed repulsed by her presence, choosing to squeeze themselves into the back of the elevator.
She discreetly rolled her eyes and ignored them, holding her head high while waiting for the elevator to stop. As soon as the doors opened, she stepped ahead of the others. She left the building and found Braun’s familiar car parked. She approached it and got inside.
“Good evening, Madam,” Luigi greeted her.
“Good evening, Luigi,” she greeted back with a smile. “Is Braun still in a meeting?”
Luigi started the car and left that place.
“Yes, Madam. After I drop you off at the mansion, I’ll immediately return to him,” he politely replied.
“I’m sorry if I inconvenienced you. I texted Braun not to pick me up because he needs you
