Chapter 64. Darkness Suddenly Engulfed Her

Until they arrived at the hospital, Chelsey’s panic showed no signs of abating, not because of what would happen to her, but because of what would happen when Braun arrived. Despite her repeated attempts to calm her friend, it seemed like she didn’t want to be comforted.

Doctor Nami was already in the lobby when they entered the hospital, accompanied by a nurse pushing a wheelchair. The doctor immediately approached them.

“What happened?” Doctor Nami asked, assisting Briella to sit in the wheelchair.

“This pregnant woman indulged in ice cream, as soon as she woke up!” Chelsey replied.

Doctor Nami nodded and signaled to the Nurse accompanying her, and they all went up to the second floor where her office and a connecting clinic were located. Quietly following them was Jeydon, who stayed close and offered support.
