Chapter 174. It’s Your Choice

Several days passed, and it was time for Carol to leave the hospital. Diana went early to pick her up.

Carol was still weak, though she had been in the hospital for weeks. She was tormented by her feelings of guilt. Moreover, she had lost a lot of weight.

Diana felt so sorry for her. “How can you not take good care of yourself? If your parents found out, they would be heart-broken.”

Carol smiled bitterly. She was still torn up about losing her baby.

“Diana, please, don’t say anything to my parents.” Carol grabbed Diana’s sleeve and begged. She didn’t want her parents to be worried about her.

“All right, all right. I won’t say anything to them. Don’t worry,” Diana conceded.

Diana helped Carol out of the hospital. When they got down to the exit, they saw Kyle’s car waiting outside.

Carol was caught off guard at the sight of Kyle’s car. He hadn’t been to visit her once while she was in the hospital. Now he was here to pick her up.
