Chapter 175. You Are Cold

Chapman signed the contract without any hesitation, much to the delight of Kyle, who straight away got up to leave. Antonette did the same.

Carol also prepared to go and asked, “Kyle, are we leaving now?”

Touching her hair softly, Kyle said, “Sweetie, you stay here to accompany Mr. Miller. You can drink together for a while. After I drop Antonette home, I will come back to pick you up.”

“But…” Carol was uneasy at the idea of staying with this stranger. She wanted to ask Kyle to take her too, but Chapman intervened. He came over to where Carol was standing and put his hands around her waist.

“Come on, Carol. Let’s drink.”

Carol felt threatened by his behavior. She tried to wriggle free from his lustful hands. Though Kyle saw what Chapman was doing, he said nothing and left with Antonette.

“See, your husband left. He understands. But he is willing to do it for the business. Now can we drink?”
