Chapter 46. Came to Complain
In her opinion, this was how rich, powerful people should live. Her mother had taught her this way of thinking since she was a child. And she was born to live such a life.
What she did not understand, however, was although servants are neither rich nor powerful, they remember who treats them badly, and they bear a grudge. Antonette was hard on them. And she would be treated in the same way sometime in the future.
After a few of Antonette’s visits to the villa, she soon becomes the most annoying guest in the servants’ minds. And with her as a comparison, they loved Diana even more for her kind, gentle ways.
