Chapter 96. Hello

The waitress immediately crawled to Valencia and began to hit her head against the floor, tears streaming profusely down her face. She bawled pitifully, “Miss Valencia, please forgive me. I just wanted to save my poor mother. My poor mother was sick, and I just needed the money. Please let me go…”

Before the waitress could complete her words, the female guard grabbed her by the hair and threw her far away from Valencia.

The waitress was clearly pleading with such words in order to get Valencia to soften, forgive her, and not get to the root of the matter. Unfortunately, she messed with the wrong person.

“Who sent you?” The guard cruelly pulled the waitress by the hair and questioned her harshly.

The waitress's lips parted and her eyes darted about, her body trembling. She cried out, “I. I didn’t see the person’s face. The person covered their eyes. Please, let me go.” She bawled pitifully.

The bodyguard sneered, not falling for the waitress’s lies.
