"Are you feeling better now?" Betty asks as soon as I walk out of the doctor's office.

"No, not really, babe. I still feel pretty nauseous, and the hospital stench is really not helping," I reply to her, still hating the fact that she made me come all the way to a hospital just because I threw up a few times and told her I was nauseous.

"What did the doctor say?" she asks.

"Nothing really. They just ran a few tests and said they'd get back to me in about thirty minutes, although he mentioned something about suspecting I could be pregnant, but when I told him that was impossible, he said he'd confirm whatever was wrong with me through a test and let me know."
