I stepped into a diner close to the Knight Tech building and I spotted Asher sitting on a table for four alone near a window. I took my seat in front of him and he raised his head from his phone to look at me.

“Your Highness.” He bowed. “I didn't expect you to be here early. “ 

“I'm a punctual person and I don't like people wasting my time,” I replied as I checked the time to see that it was two minutes past the appointed time.“Where is he?” I asked. “Have you spoken to him?” 

“Yes, he's going to be here soon,” he answered. “He called saying he had to report to work and finalize his impromptu off day.”

“I thought Mr Knight said he would be taking care of that.” 

“He did send a message to his department head but they still have to make sure that his absence doesn't affect their work in any way.”
