Chapter 97

Estefan's POV

Even after Rhea's actions toward me earlier, I still wanted to do something for her. When my parent arrived, I informed my mom about the surprise party which she agreed to. No matter how much she pushed me away, I would do my best to get her to forgive me. 

"Estefan, Esteban, come with me," Dad called as he walked out of the living room.

Esteban and I glanced at each other before standing on our feet to follow him. We stood behind him in silence inside the elevator before glancing at each other. I asked Esteban what was going on using my eyes and he replied by shaking his head.

The elevator stopped on the fifth floor and we stepped out, moving toward my dad's office. We walked into the office and my dad sat on his desk while we took the seat opposite him.

"I received a call from Mr Knight today about the ongoing project," Dad said as he leaned into his seat.
