Chapter 26. Miss You So Much
"I hope you don't have the heart to hurt my grandfather's feelings," Julian whispered as he had suddenly placed his head next to the girl.
Realizing the existence of the CEO who was so close, Mia was unmoved. The tension had multiplied in her nerves. However, after swallowing hard, the girl tried to stay focused on the conversation.
"Don't tell me you brought me here on purpose to make Mr. Hunt think of me as Mrs. Evans," the girl said in a thin voice.
“Why do you think so? I'm not that cunning, Mia," Julian spoke innocently. "I wish my grandfather the best," he continued before turning back to peek at the old man who was scratching his head in confusion.
Before Mia's suspicions had been fully discussed, Greta already stepped towards them with a pair of pants in her right hand.
