Chapter 33. Mia Hunt
Hearing the words of Mr. Hunt, the girl was suddenly speechless. While fighting the tightness in her lungs, she put her hands together, hiding the cold sweat that was starting to wet her palms.
“You have to remember, Mia. A flower only needs to spread its petals to make the butterfly feel happy, and so are you. Just by being the best version of yourself, you've made my James happy."
However, instead of nodding, the girl shook her head slowly. “But, I feel unable to make him happy, Dad. Even though I am a flower, my petals are not the most beautiful.”
Unexpectedly, Mr. Hunt gave the plant in his hand to Mia. "Thank you," he said, suddenly making the girl pensive.
"Why are you still giving this to me?" Mia asked with furrowed brows.
"Because you are my son's flower of choice," the old man replied without the slightest hesitation.
