Chapter 76. Understanding Mia

Julian forced his brain to work harder. “I've even been nice to Katniss, just as you want. The proof is her gratefulness for today. Doesn't that mean I didn't hurt her? I have fulfilled your request, Mia.”

Instead of being extinguished, the girl's irritation turned to anger. Mia understood that her attitude was completely unreasonable. She herself had asked her lover to respect Katniss' feelings, but she was also the one protesting Julian's concern for the model.

Thinking that neither path felt right, Mia snorted and closed her eyes. Her head could explode if she continued to maintain the insanity.

“Hurry up! Don't make Cayden cry if he wakes up without his mother," Mia urged unexpectedly.

Even though it was only a whisper, Julian was still taken aback by the firmness that slipped between the words.

"Okay," the man said while starting the engine. But, when he was about to put on a seat belt, the man suddenly blinked and turned back to his lover.
