Hearing Mia's disappointed tone, Julian turned around. "Of course not. My desire to always be by your side is getting bigger,” the man argued with round eyes.
"Then, why are you focusing more on heights than me?"
After letting out a faint breath, Julian stroked the girl's head. "Okay, I'm sorry. From now on, I will focus more on you.”
"Right. Keep it like that! Otherwise, I will feel guilty for choosing this route.”
Lifting the corners of his lips, the man shook his head slightly. “You don't have to feel that way, Mia. I was the one who took you here this morning. I think it's time for me to treat this very troublesome phobia."
Taking a deep breath, Julian forced his gaze out the window. The trees were getting sparse, replaced by grass, while the other mountains were starting to become clearer. Even though his heart was pounding, the man stiffened his neck so as not to dodge.
