Instead of answering, Max deepened the attack. Although Gabriella grimaced and refused, he did not hesitate to continue.
“Are you going to kill me? Stop! I don't want my blood vessels to burst,” the woman who had difficulty speaking insisted. Her beating heart had constricted the throat.
