Chapter 7. Do As You Please

These idiots just liked licking the Rivera family’s boots. They agreed with whatever Elizabeth said regardless of the truth.

Annetta looked sharply at the shop assistant. She tilted her head and said with a faint smile, “What if I just want this gown?”

The woman seemed to be smiling, but her smile did not reach her eyes. The shop assistant felt that her glare was sinister and eerie.

The shop assistant was puzzled. At a second glance, she realized that she had read things wrongly. She sighed with relief as she thought, “What harm could an ugly person like Annetta do to her?”

Young Master Ethan had not come even though he had ordered the gown for Annetta. Based on the murmurings around her, the shop assistant could roughly tell that this woman was just Young Master Ethan’s pet. How could she even compare with the lady of the Rivera family?

Not to mention that even Young Master Ethan’s assistant, Howard, was on Miss Rivera’s side!
