Chapter 72. Sixteen Days

After three days of torment, Annetta instinctively backed away in fear.

The man noticed this action. Annetta immediately sensed the anger burning within the man’s eyes. She couldn’t help but tremble slightly.

“Netta dear, are you scared of me?” The man stood at the edge of the bed, his tall figure shrouded in the shadows. Annetta felt her heart tense up.

“No…” She was terrified, but she pretended not to be.

But the man did not believe her. He leaned over, pinched her chin, tilted his head, and bit down hard on her collarbone.

That day, they spent the rest of the time in the bedroom, and the man would not let her go.
