SCOTT
We were going to start on Thornhill's house in LA in March and it was every bit the monster undertaking I thought it would be. I'd sent the plans to his business manager for approval and got the word to go ahead. I looked for volunteers for the workers who'd be working on it since they'd be separated from their families each week. I still had half a crew made up of my guys. The rest of the crew would be made up from the other three contractors I'd hired from. I actually sent different parts of the plan to the three contractors and got their estimates for the sections I want them to build to make it easier to decide how much this was going to cost. I estimated four or five months to finish his house if all went well, if not longer, including a 2000 square foot guest house. That might depend upon how quickly the county responded to requests for inspection.
