When we got home, I immediately shed my clothes, before I even thanked the others for coming to my rescue. Even the hospital gown more than I'd been accustomed to wearing for so long. They were all dressed except Lucia, ready to leave whenever they were ready. A couple suitcases stood near the door. I hugged Zoe. It was odd, bumping bellies with Zoe, both of us pregnant and starting to show.
