"Tell me about your family," I ordered as Lucia started licking.

"I'm the third of six children, two different fathers. I have one older brother and sister and two younger sisters and another brother."

"My father was in the military, Army. He was the father of the three oldest kids. My mother ran a hairdresser shop here in Fresno.
