Chapter 35. Funeral

Today is Mr. Hans’ funeral. A sad look dominated Rachel’s beautiful face. Since yesterday the woman also hasn’t eaten anything at all. After all, what else can a child do at her father’s funeral besides crying and mourning her father’s departure? Rachel’s life seemed to float along with her father’s. Her life seemed to end that very day, after seeing her father’s body lying stiff with a pale face. Never imagined seeing her father in this condition.

Rachel only took a sip of the milk and juice Mario gave her, of course, this worried Mario, especially when his wife was currently pregnant. He can be sure if his wife doesn’t eat much she can get tired or even faint. After all, her energy was already drained from crying non-stop, if she didn’t eat what would she become? Mario has no other choice, but to strengthen his wife so that she is not too down because of her father’s departure, however, Rachel’s life must go on.
