Chapter 50. Visiting Lea

Edward is now 40 days old. This morning Rachel, Mario, and Edward were in their room. Mario was rocking Edward while talking to the baby. Edward babbled many times as if protesting against Mario who kept kissing him and made Edward laugh.

“Your son is so handsome. When you grow up, you have to be like daddy, huh?” said Mario who invited Edward to speak. Edward only responded with his babbling.

Rachel who saw the sight smiled happily. She was happy when her family could gather and laugh like this, considering the many obstacles they had overcome together. Remembering that, made Rachel’s tears come out. In the end, they managed to face all problems, be they big or small. Rachel cried because she didn’t expect to be at this point after all the sad things had come to her.

Unintentionally, Mario turned to Rachel. The woman was staring at herself who was still playing with Edward with tears running down her cheeks. What is this? Mario didn’t like seeing Rachel shed tears
