Well, it’s not exactly a breakup since we were not officially together but he doesn’t have to know that I lied to him about Phoenix being my boyfriend last time. “Yes.”

“Did he hurt you?” He asked. I could sense his tone changing into anger. “Tell me so that I could kill that guy. I swear, I warned him that-“

“I’m fine, Eion,” I said, stopping him from bursting out. It’s really hard when he gets angry. He literally explodes. And I don’t want trouble. It’s partly my fault.  “It’s just…things changed.”  I continued. 

He sighed. “I see…Grandpa died and I feel bad for having a wedding.. and now you are not going to come?”  He asked. Now I feel guilty. 

“Fine. I will come, stop making me guilty.” He sighed in relief at that and bid his goodbyes before hanging up.
