Chapter 79. Tonight

“We’re here,” Reagan announced, stopping by the driveway. Aurora didn’t even notice that they were already here…

She then remembered the suitcase he left earlier outside her door and she dared to bring it up. 

“You need to get the suitcase by the way.” She spoke up, and Reagan faced her.

“Why? I gave that to you so-”

“I don’t need it.” She simply answered.

He blinked, “I don’t get it, I know that suitcase is important to you and you threw it away…Does it…remind you of the past?”

Aurora sighed, knowing he was right but not wanting to say it right into his face. “No, I just don’t want to owe you anything.” 

“But I’m not intending anything, just accept it,” Reagan said, still not backing down. What’s up with that suitcase anyway that he’s pushing it like this? It’s not like it's his..

“Nope, if you don’t get it now, I’ll throw it in the river tomorrow.” She threatened and Reagan sighed. 

“Fine.”
