Seven years later

“Are you okay, Brooklyn?” asked Nikolas as they drove home from the doctor’s visit.

Today was her last ultrasound at thirty weeks of pregnancy. They were worried to see Brianna moving a lot inside her today. She was slowly taking a position for her delivery, kicking Brooklyn frequently. The doctor had advised her to keep her updated as Brianna seemed to be heading towards an early delivery.

“Yes, but I’m exhausted. She’s too restless inside me.”
