The food was ready when Matteo and Lucas returned with Mariella. They introduced her to Alexia, who was already on her fifth pizza slice.

“Dad, can I stay here, please? I don’t want to go to your golf club,” said Alexia. Lucas gave a pleading look at Sienna, who shrugged helplessly.
