Nadine

The news anchor’s voice pierces the air, revealing an affair between Nathalie and billionaire Elliot Jones. I am stunned, wondering how this private matter becomes public.  

Nathalie is indeed infatuated with Elliot, fantasizing about uncovering the secrets behind his mysterious eyes.  

And that is long before her marriage to Jake, my ex-fiancé. But seeing them entwined in bed, splashed across the news outlets, leaves me speechless.  

As I sit frozen, I sense a presence behind me. Logan stands there, his eyes fixed on the screen.  

This has his fingerprints all over it—he promises to exact revenge on Nathalie and Jake, but I never imagine he’d go this far, exposing it to the world.  

“You did this, didn’t you?” I accuse, turning to face Logan. His eyes turn cold and calculating. “Isn’t this what you wanted—revenge for all she did to you?” he asks, his voice devoid of emotion
