Chapter 103
FEYRE
I had a drink, or two, or three, with the man from the elevator. His name is William and he is from a pack in London, I did say he wasn't from here.
He'd laughed when I mentioned it. Really, any girl would swoon when she heard his accent.
His company was good and he had a great humor but still, there was something lacking. Not from him, I knew the problem was me.
I couldn't get Zade out of my head and I know he doesn't deserve even a second of my time but thinking it and acting on it are two entirely different things.
"Your mind seems to be elsewhere." I blinked up when I heard the accented voice speak.
If he hasn't figured out there was something wrong with me in the past half hour that we've been together then he has to be the most clueless man in the world.
"Can I guess what the problem is?" he asked, cocking one of his brows.
My eyes did a sweep around the room, still only unfamiliar faces. I knew it would be out of character
