FEYRE

I feel pain in every part of my body.

That is the first thing I notice when I start to regain consciousness. There is a woman standing over me but I can't see her through my blurry gaze.

The pounding in the back of my head is back, and it is worse. I feel every slight movement I make there. And seeing as I'm not moving a lot, it means shit.

I'm really battered up and extremely weak.

I force my mind to relax, trying to remember the events that made me end up here. Everything else is a fog in my head but I remember one thing most more vividly than anything else.

The feel of Zade. I could have sworn I saw him and he touched me.

I was at the gates and he was there.

The only problem is, I'm not sure if that is a memory or just my imagination. As much as I didn't want it to be, I couldn't hide the fact that there is a high chance it is.

I am no doctor but I know I probably have a concussion from how much I got battered.
