He exhales loudly. "Okay. How do I do it?"

"Think of shifting," he goes silent.

I clear my mind of every thought, every worry. The possibility of actually never getting out of here, of the people behind this getting away with it. I don't let myself think of them at the moment.

I relax my body and call Cassian forward. From the multiple times we've done this, he knows the drill. I take it slow because of Joel. It is always better when you have someone close to you doing that too.

Cassian's dominance as an alpha will keep his wolf calm, knowing he has someone to look after him closely. He wouldn't freak out and try to fight into shifting fully or taking dominance out of fear of something different than what he is used to happening.
