Delilah doesn't say anything for a minute, and we just both keep doing what we're doing.
"What do you need it for then?" She looks and sounds genuinely confused.
I open my mouth to reply, then I realize how it would sound, so I just sigh and run my hands through my hair.
"I don't know really, I thought I saw a woman up there, twice," I stress that, so I don't sound like a paranoid bitch. "I wanted to make sure I was wrong."
She hums but doesn't say anything. It makes me feel strange.
"You think I'm crazy, right?" I sigh.
She chuckles and shakes her head. "I mean, you think my alpha has a woman in our attic. Maybe crazy is not the right word to use."
Delilah is painfully honest, and right now, I kind of regret giving her too much information, but on the plus side, she doesn't look like she is about to run off and tell him.
