Chapter 66
FEYRE
At the front door, I stopped to adjust the laces of my shoes which I didn't tie very well. Because someone was rushing me.
'Don't blame this on me, you were the one getting distracted.' She grumbles.
She wants to be out already, to roam freely in the wild.
'Just chill a little.' I said as I started jogging down the driveway.
'Where are we even going?' she asks.
That is a good question which I don't have an answer to. I was so caught up in my excitement and the prospect of running that I didn't even think to ask where they go for pack runs.
It is usually in the woods. But we are surrounded by woods, so I need to narrow it down.
I slow my run to a jog, I'm around the route Damien followed when he led me to that damned sex club.
I have forgiven him but it will take longer before I can forget it. If I ever do.
I never want to see the face of that building.
I didn't have to think, I just spin and go the opposite way.
