Chapter 20

Nelly turned to find her sexy next door neighbor running after her. It looked like he had been waiting all day for her to return. Nelly was surprised a bit, she wondered what was so important that made him wait outside for her to return. 

"How are you doing, Nelly?" Amon asked with a high profile smile the moment he stood beside Nelly. 

"I'm doing great, Amon." 

Nelly intentionally refused to reciprocate the question. She feared that Amon had nothing to say. Or should I put it, she feared that Amon had nothing serious to say. 

Amon reached for his back pocket - 

"I was out at the grocery store today, I found this and I thought you would love it so I decided to get some for you." Amon took out some chocolates and handed it to Nelly. He had heard that most pregnant women crave chocolate and other edibles which he wanted to find out. 

"I'm sorry, Amon. I can't accept your gift." Nelly tried to move into her apartment but
