Chapter 77

“Nurse Terra, you may leave,” Neuer dismissed the nurse to her greatest glee. No words were exchanged between the two people in the office. He stood up, picked his suitcase and made to leave the office. 

“Neuer? Are you ignoring me?” 

Nelly stopped and stared at her. 

“What do you want? Vera, get out of my office.”

“Really? Are you still angry with me? What's the meaning of all these? I've already said I'm sorry.”

Neuer ignored her but she didn't give up. She walked up to him and wrapped her arms around his hips. 

Vera was Neuer's ex girlfriend. He loved her dearly but she left him for another man. According to her, she wanted to travel outside the country and that new man promised to do that for her. Neuer pleaded but she was long gone. 

Now, she was back, and professing her love to him.
