Chapter 531. Fighting Against All Odds

However, Serena felt that it would make her appear too weak to be pushed out simply because of her lack of ability, especially with Phoebe’s arrogant attitude. Therefore, Serena decided to fight against all odds and succeed in becoming a regular employee within the month. If she still didn’t like the job by then, she could resign. This would prove to Phoebe that she was not inferior to her and that she was not unable to meet the requirements of Hodge Accounting Firm, but rather chose not to stay there.

Serena knew that difficulties and hidden agendas existed in every workplace, and leaving for another job may not necessarily be better. Besides, this would be an opportunity for her to develop her skills.

After making up her mind, Serena stood up, took a deep breath, and pushed the door open. The next month was bound to be anything but easy.
