Chapter 60. It’s Ridiculous
Rodney had been here countless times in the past three years. Ashton had a very regular life and would definitely return home before 8 pm.
Today was an exception. Rodney looked at his watch. It was ten o’clock in the evening already. The window was still dark. Did something happen?
Rodney waited downstairs for a while longer yet still didn’t see Amber or Ashton. A middle-aged woman living in the same building happened to be back. She had seen Rodney staring at the window many times. If it weren’t for his stately manner and expensive clothes, she might think he was a lunatic.
It was just a shabby building. What was there to look at?
