Chapter 202. Pregnancy Care

Rodney had made an appointment to meet with Ashton. He made no effort to hide his true intentions as he said, “I’m going to ask you questions about your past. I hope you will be honest and tell me only the truth.”

It then dawned on Ashton that Rodney had discovered the truth about his identity. He remained calm, “What do you want to know?”

“I have a lot of things I want to know. First of all, why are you pretending to be Ashton? Secondly, tell me more about Itzel.”

“Pretending to be Ashton wasn’t exactly my intention,” Issac sighed and told Rodney about how his wallet had been stolen because of a famous painting.

“When the real Ashton passed away in an accident, I returned to South City in a sorry state and had nowhere to go. Amber’s mother took me in, and since then, I’ve been using Ashton’s identity to avoid unnecessary trouble.”
