At night, the phone suddenly flashed on the bedside table while ringing.

She reached for her phone and took a look at the flashing screen. Serena sat up suddenly.

It was Elliot. His number kept flashing on the phone screen. Serena hesitated for a moment, but still couldn’t help answering the phone.

“Are you asleep?” As soon as the phone was connected, Elliot’s deep and pleasant voice came from the other end.

Hearing his voice, Serena’s heart tightened, and then she said, “Didn’t we say that we would not meet for half a month?”
