Chapter 114. Scandal

Some minutes later, he glanced down at the girl who was now sleeping deeply and sighed again with an indescribable emotion. Out of everyone, why would she have to fall for Carl? 

   He stood up then went inside the bathroom and came out after some seconds with a wet towel. After wiping her teary face, he shook his head and tucked her in the blanket again.

  " Good night, " he whispered with a sigh after tucking the hair strands away from her face then stood up and went toward the closet then picked an extra blanket. He lay down on the couch and gazed at the ceiling for a very long time while thinking about how fate could be so cruel to him.
